About Peri

Peri loves bright bracelets, custom sneakers and finding new ways to dance. Some days she opens her feather fan for a big entrance. Other days there's a part of her she wants to hide, because it feels embarrassing or she just doesn't like it. That's when Peri says, "I love myself no matter what, and I love that part too."

For grown-ups

From the grown-up toolkit: "Love that part too." When there's something about yourself you hide because you feel embarrassed or ashamed, or something you just don't like, you say, "I love myself unconditionally, and I love that part too." For kids, Peri says it as "I love myself no matter what." She still gets to choose when to open her fan.

Try it together

Think of a part of you that you sometimes hide. Put a hand on your heart and say, "I love myself no matter what, and I love that part too."

Ask each other

Is there a part of you that could use some love today?

Talk it over, draw it or act it out.
