A neighborhood where feelings are welcome

Growing up is full of moments that feel bigger than they look. Bounce Back Beny & Friends gives those moments a world of their own.

Beny and his 13 friends gathered on a bright basketball court by the ocean, palm trees and a lighthouse in the distance.

Why Beny bounces back

A ball misses the basket. A plan changes. A friend wants some space. Your thoughts get busy, and you're not sure what to do with them.

Beny knows those moments. He brings a big heart to every day, and sometimes his feelings get there before his words do. He wants to jump in, play, help, and get it right. When things don't go as planned, he has a whole crew learning alongside him.

Cappy reminds him to be kind to himself. Willow helps him check the story in his head. Ollie notices what his body is saying. Pippa takes a brave first step, while Tilly finds a way to ask for help. Every friend brings something different, and every friend has something to practice.

The growing keeps going after the story ends, when a kid remembers a friend, repeats a phrase, or asks a question in their own life.

What bouncing back means

Bouncing back doesn't mean bouncing past a feeling.

Sometimes it's another try. Sometimes it's a pause, an apology, or asking someone to stay beside you. A kid who is still sad or still scared belongs here too.

A colorful seaside neighborhood with connected paths between a basketball court, mural, garden, workshop, dance stage, woodland trail, skate ramp and beach lighthouse.

What we believe

  • Feelings are welcome

You can feel what you feel, stay kind to yourself, and find a next step with help from your friends.

  • Everyone is still learning

Friends forget, get stuck, and try again. Nobody passes a tool once and is done.

  • Different is good

Fast and slow, loud and quiet, everyone belongs, and no friend is ranked above another.

  • Laugh with, never at

The funny stuff comes from plans, personalities and surprises. Never from someone's feelings or need for help.

Grown from Making Space for Love

Bounce Back Beny teaches kids the same tools we explore with grown-ups on the Making Space for Love podcast: loving yourself, noticing what's happening inside, connecting with courage, and making room for the people you love.
